Dr. Ghanta is a member of several medical societies, including American Medical Association (AMA), American Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), American College of Surgeons (ACS), Association of Women Surgeons (AWS), and American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS). Dr. Ghanta moved to the West Coast and joined the Association of South Bay Surgeons in 2008. Her current interests are in general surgery procedures, as well as anorectal disorders and advanced laparoscopic colon and rectal procedures, for both benign and malignant processes. She also has training in performing colonoscopies and anorectal physiology testing for incontinence disorders.
